OUR GOAL HERE AT HIGH PROFILE is to assure every child, boy and girl, get a full spectrum basketball experience, and a good understanding of the sport. We work on building knowledge,confidence, body-strength as well as coordination and teamwork in our “Get Ready Basketball” clinics and camps. We teach the importance of hard work, unity, camaraderie and respect, all of which will make them better all around players.
Here at High Profile we feel “Each child can be taught by people who care” this is why each of our instructors bring their unique idea to our program and blends it together to create a fun and exciting way to learn basketball. We are dedicated to providing your child with a great basketball experience.
When taking a general overview of our neighborhoods, we’ve found our youth have faced a variety of serious problems and predicaments. Many of these problems are brought on by the lack of community awareness, involvement and the dissolution of the family lifestyle.
Where there is erosion of the family there can’t be a community,no structure, obligation or responsibility. In recognizing these community needs, HIGH PROFILE was created.
To help combat this ever present situation, High Profile has devised a number of Mentorship programs that will reach out to all the youth living in our communities. Our Program provides everyone the opportunity to participate and gain some insight on ways to improve on the decaying situations in our community.
HIGH PROFILE also focuses on educational tutorials, sports programs, basketball clinics as well as summer camps to help strengthen our children's scholastic, sports and social skills.
We hold several events throughout the year to promote this very important initiative of insuring our youth continue to strive in healthy environments.
Many of the people involved in our program resides in the community and understand what's needed within. They represent a very important resource that society has all but counted out. We feel our program can help restore some of the hope that has been lost and will act as a reminder that COMMUNITY CARES!
